As part of our commitment to ensuring that the practice of compounding medicines continues to meet the highest quality benchmarks, particularly in an increasingly regulated healthcare environment. We are proud to announce the establishment of the Clinical Governance Committee.
This committee is composed of five distinguished members, including:
Three members with a combined 60 years of experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy.
Two external experts:
A consumer advocate with in-depth knowledge of compounded products.
An Associate Professor from a leading Australian University, specialising in pharmacology and compounding pharmacy, with significant experience in research and clinical trials.
Together, the committee aims to ensure through its members that every product compounded or recommended, meets the highest clinical standards, safeguarding both patients and practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Enhance Quality and Safety: Implementing rigorous protocols to ensure all compounded medications meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring evolving regulations to ensure compliance with both local and international compounding standards.
Mitigate Risk: Developing strategies to reduce risks associated with compounding practices, ensuring safe and effective treatments for your patients.
Foster Professional Development: Providing ongoing education and training for pharmacy staff and practitioners to ensure best practices in compounding.
